About Chris Finn

Chris Finn currently lives in upstate New York where he works independently with digital art, motion graphics, photography, and 3D modeling/animation. He has extensive experience with video production and design. In 2008, Chris partnered with his brother and three friends to create Slightly Epic Productions. Their most recent film "Motive" was accepted into the Ballston Spa Film festival, and SACCTV-16's Electric City Film Fest.

In 2009, Chris entered the Capital Repertory Film Trailer contest for the play "To Kill a Mockingbird" and received first prize. His winning video highlighted the underlying themes of discrimination, bigotry, and courage that are found in both the novel and the play. Finn used a combination of graphic images, text, and sound to produce his video submission. Chris was recognized at an award ceremony in the theatre café lobby. The final result can be seen on the "Films" page.

In June of 2010, Chris received "Most Promising New Young Filmmaker" and "Most Outstanding Film of the Year: Other" for his film "Communication Revolution" (Films page), at the annual Niskayuna High School Short Cuts event.

To pay for his passion for media arts, he is currently employed as an office assistant at the Latham, NY law firm of Lavelle & Finn, LLP. He also works designing websites at (the coolest division of Lavelle & Finn, LLP).
